Payments on ChairHop are processed by Square. By using ChairHop, you also agree to Square's terms and conditions. Stylists must connect a Square account to receive payouts.

These Payment Terms describe how bookings, deposits, charges, and refunds are processed on ChairHop.
Section 01
Payments on ChairHop are processed by Square. By using ChairHop, you also agree to Square's terms and conditions. Stylists must connect a Square account to receive payouts.
Section 02
When a stylist accepts a booking request, a non-refundable deposit is automatically collected from the client's payment method. The deposit is applied toward the total cost of the appointment.
Section 03
The remaining balance is charged automatically to the client's payment method when the stylist marks the appointment as complete. Funds are deposited to the stylist's connected Square account according to Square's payout schedule.
Section 04
Clients may cancel up to the window specified by the stylist. Deposits for late cancellations or no-shows are not refunded. Stylists who cancel an accepted booking will refund the deposit in full to the client.
Section 05
Refund disputes are first handled directly between the client and the stylist. ChairHop may, at its discretion, mediate disputes but is not responsible for the outcome of any service.
Section 06
ChairHop charges a service fee on completed bookings. The applicable fee is displayed before a stylist accepts a booking and is automatically deducted from the transaction.
Section 07
Stylists are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable sales taxes on their services. ChairHop does not file taxes on a stylist's behalf.
